Sweet Heart Polish Review

Long time, no post? I apologize. After that two weeks without a day off, my nails were so fragile and peeling. So I gave me some well deserved nubs. Now that my nails are back and healthy again, so are my posts!

First, I have some exciting news. Next Friday (yes, Black Friday) I will be battling my way into the abyss of ferocious moms and big-tv-loving dads to purchase a Canon Rebel DSLR. So beautiful swatches are coming your way! But until then I will be doing my usual, iPhone + macro lens.

Onto the review, Cassandra from Sweet Heart Polish sent me three beautiful samples to review for you guys. I chose to review only two of them today to be able to give you guys two posts. However, here are some photos of all three shades!
(L to R: O'Connell!, Sands of Time, & Attack of the Crunchy Leaves)

I applied two very light coats of Sands of Time first which became opaque quite quickly to my surprise. It has a very subtle but gorgeous holo and a pearlescent feel to it. I wouldn't know how to describe this exact shade besides saying a mix between a nude and a gold. Exactly how I like it.

(2 coats of Sands of Time + 1 coat of top coat)

Then I added one, and maybe a half, coat of Attack of the Crunchy Leaves for accent nails. These two polishes go perfectly together. (I think that was intentional on Cassandra's behalf. ;P)

Attack of the Crunch Leaves has gold/rusty microglitter, hexglitter, and large round glitters. Now, personally I am not one for glitter but this mani PAINED me to take off. It went so well with the season and together. Oh how I loathe a job who forbids lacquer.

After all is said and done, I was mind-boggled by the quality of this new brand. The shades were beautiful. I can't wait to see more from her, and I will definitely be wearing this again.
Xoxo!
